Reviews ~ Finished Products September 2014

'Months... they goes by in a wink. It's allready that time. Let's see what I finished here.'

'First finished item, an Coconut Care Handcream. It was 0,79 at the Action, and at first I thought, this handcream should be purchased over and over again. But no. After this second tube, my nose tells me that the scent became funky to me. A little bit chemic. In other words, I don't like it anymore. So, I know what I need to do. Looking around for another handcream.
Next two bottles of Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Perfums. The first is in Coconut, wich is still available, and the other one is an discontinued scent in Apricot. They are 3,50 a piece, but I quit purchasing at Yves Rocher, cause the service in Holland really sucks. I mean, I loved most of their products, but they try to let you buy unnecessary things, or they send you the same "surprise" things, if there is such a deal like that to let you order. No, I'm not pleased with them lately.
The other two things. A Carmex Lipbalm in cherry. I forgot the price of that one, but I only know that I ordered from Ebay once. The other item is an mini eyepencil wich came in one of my Catrice Big City Life boxes. I know, the pencil isn't completely gone, but it does irritate my eyes, wich is mostly a sign of spoiling.'

'Then a few basic things. First my standard Cotton Rounds from the Action, 0,59 a pack. The other thing is also from the Action, discontinued, make up wipes I used for freshing up my feet in summer, only 0,19 a pack. The last thing on the pic, a Nailbuffer from the Big Bazar. Those buffers come in a pack of two, and are 1,49. The annoying thing: I can't find those Nailbuffers anymore. I only have one left, and as you can tell: I used this one to dead.'

'And that's it. I talk to you in my next post. Take care.'

Purchases ~ Trekpleister 1+1 Free Sales : Catrice Ultimate Laquers The Next Level #59 - #63 (Fall 2014)

'There was a nice sale at the Dutch Trekpleister: buy one nailpolish get one free. So I went a bit nuts with Catrice's newest regular Fall colors. Catrice Ultimate Laquers are 2,99 each, so I paid for this lot basicly 7,50. (The sixth color I will show you in another upcoming post, beware of that).'
Left to right: #59 First Glass Up-Grape, #60 Out Of The Dark, #61 Greige! The New Beige, #62 Must-Have STEELetto, #63 Mint The Gap

'Those Fall colors are gorgeous. You can get away with one coat of the most Catrice Ultimate Laquers, and it dries quik. Only bad thing: Catrice doesn't really well on their brushes at the moment, so I don't know what that all about. The brushes are a bit bended at some polishes, or looking rough. So keep that in mind. The polishes gave me mostly a smooth application, and most of my brushes are okay. But let's be honest, right?'

'Favorites of the bunch: First Glass Up-Grape, Must-Have Steeletto and Mint The Gap. Those are beautiful eyecatchers for the nails.'

Projects ~ On my nails : NYC Prey of Grey with Catrice LE Sand'Sation 100 Per Sand Real

'I had to try the Catrice LE Sand'Sation in 100 Per Sand Real, so I decided to make it the manicure of this week. The 100 Per Sand Real laquer isn't available anymore. I got this one with some luck, for only 2,50.'

'On my ringfinger 100 Per Sand Real as an accent. I like to use sand laquers as an accent, so I used NYC In A Minute in Prey Of Grey to make a nice combo.'

'There was a nice sale at the Dutch Trekpleister: buy one nailpolish get one free. So I went a bit nuts with Catrice's newest regular line: Luxury Laquers Million Brilliance. Along that, I bought also two discontinued Luxury Laquers, also one Million Brilliance in Glitz Carlton and one Sand'sation in 100 Per Sand Real. I bought these discontinued Limited Editions for only 2,50 each. The Million Brilliance Regular ones are normal 3,59, so I was done for 7,20, and got four polishes. Total of this: 12,20.'
Discontinued: Glitz Carlton, 100 Per Sand Real
Regular Million Brilliance: #03 Let's Get Lost In Vegas, #04 Lost 'N Roses, #07 Stars And Stories, #08 My Big Green Wedding

'For the swatches, I only used one coat here, but off course, those are buildable. I personally want to use the Million Brilliance ones as a glittery topcoat accent nail.'

Purchases ~ Perfect Touch Nailpolish #09 (Big Bazar, NL)

'We all know by now, that the Dutch Big Bazar has awesome things for less money. Recently, they came out with their own make up line, with the name Perfect Touch. Prizes are between 0,99 and 2,99, so far as I could see it. I bought, offcourse one of their nailpolishes for only 0,99.'

'First the application, wich is smooth and easy. You can get away with one layer, wich I did in the pics here. The brush is your common brush, it's thin but also a bit wide, but not too wide. I used, like I said one coat here, no topcoat. It stays on my nails for five (!) days with maybe a little bit wear on the tips, but barely noticed. No topcoat, like I said. And the other good part: It dries very, very quikly, no joking. I'm pretty surprised by the quality of this polish. A few small things, Perfect Touch don't have an too excited range of colors, and they work with numbers. So this polish is in number 09. However, they don't test on animals, wich is for a lot of us a big plus. I highly recommend you to try one of their colors, because for the price you can't leave it. Perfect Touch polishes are only 0,99 each, and you can buy them at the Big Bazar when you're in Holland.'
