Reviews ~ Finished Products July 2014

'It's that time of the month again. Here are my Finished Products of July 2014.'

'First two showercreams. The first one is by Vogue in Etoile, the other is a sample of the newest Nivea Showercream. I got both for free. I'm not sure with the Nivea one. Nivea showercream dried out my skin too much, so I don't want to purchase the full size. The Vogue one is okay.
Then an FA Deodorant Spray. It was €1 at the grocerystore once, and I like this Fantasy Moments scent. I will repurchase this. The only thing: It don't keep me dry for 48h like the package claims.
Lastly an €0,79 Coconut handcream from the Action. This cream works fine, but when you're almost out, the consistency's getting an weird smell.'

'Finished my Catrice Colourshow Lipgloss in Pink Me Up. It wasn't my favorite. I paid once €3,99 for it, but it's discontinued.
Also finished an Catrice Limited Edition Lipstick for €3,99. I don't know wich collection it was, and it doesn't matter, cause like I said it is Limited so not available anymore.
Next in line, this W7 Cuticle Nail Gel. It was €0,99, but Big Bazar raised the price a bit to 1,15. I repurchased this allready. I basicly stocked this product, so enough said. I really, really love this cuticle gel.
Lastly a Tea Tree Face Oil from Superdrug. I can't remember how much it was, and probably I have an Purchase post about this one. I will repurchase it, if I find it, and it worked fine at night.'

'Lastly a bunnch of Cocnut Facewhipes from the Action, €0,79, wich worked fine to me. I will repurchase it when I need more face cloths. Also finished a bunch of Khiel's samples, wich worked okay to me. However, I can't purchase these, cause they're not so budget friendly.'

Projects ~ Connect the Dots ... Part Two

'I was so inspired to do an manicure with dots, after I marked my nailpolish bottles with dots. So I painted my nails in an sunny yellow, took an milky polish over it, and made a few purple dots. I think it turned out cute.'

'Products I used: Only You (Dutch brand, available at the Ici Paris) in Banana Split, Milky Polish (used an discontinued one) and Spoiled by Wet 'n Wild in 2 Weeks Sober.'

Projects ~ Connect the Dots... (Idea from Youtuber Tati)

'I got this awesome idea from Youtuber Tati: Mark your nailpolish bottles, if you put them in drawers. Or suitcases, like I did here. You take an dottingtool, and mark your bottles, like so:'

'Here's how my suitcases and drawer looks now.'

Purchases ~ Catrice UL The Next Level #41 - #45 + New Catrice Colors Sneak Peak (Swatches)

'Over the past months I collected some more Catrice Ultimate Laquers The Next Level colors. The reason why I put these colors up now, is because some of them should be discontinued soon. You can purchase these colors now with 50% discount at the Dutch Kruidvat or Trekpleister. That means instead of paying €2,99 for most colors, you pay 1,50 for those. These colors should be replaced by new colors soon. I noticed they gonna release an Luxury Laquers line for permanent (?) now, wich contains Million Brilliance and Liquid Metal polishes. I'm excited for these line. Prices for these colors should be 3,59 a piece.'

' Now on to my purchases.'
* #41 Million Dollar Baby
* #42 Nickel Minaj
* # 43 Miami pINK
* # 44 Mermaid My Day
* #45 Kitch Me If You Can

'My favorites out of this bunch are Kitch Me If You Can, an pink glitter, and Mermaid My Day, an great teal blue shimmer color, wich is perfect on the beach these days. As we know from Catrice, these colors goes on smooth, and are quik drying. Miami pINK is the only one wich can use an third coat and looks a bit Christmassy, but if you look closer you can see that this color is defenately a fuchia glitter color.'

Purchases ~ Catrice UL in The Dark Knight and First Catrice Crushed Crystal

'I'm finally here to share with you my last purchased Ultimate Laquer from Catrice and my purchased Crushed Crystal. I should do this post way earlier, but offcourse, the Luxury Laquers came in between. (and so many other brands I spotted like OPI, Rimmel, Nicole by OPI etc...) So with no further jiggajagga, here are my Nailpolishes from Catrice.'

'Bought with 50% off: Catrice Ultimate Laquer in The Dark Knight. This color should be discontinued by now, but it's not really an unique color. Every brand has a color like this. I don't mind having another purple like this, though.'

'And here is my first Catrice Crushed Crystal. Those are so hard to photograph.  This color is PLUMdog Millionare.'
One coat PLUMdog Millionaire
Two coats PLUMdog Millionaire

'At this point I have a few more Catrice Nect Level Laquers, so be patient, I'm trying to make a swatch post wit them as well.'

Purchases ~ Nicole by OPI (Big Bazar)

'They are available at the Big Bazar for a while now, and finally I picked up a few. I'm talking about the Nicole By OPI Nailpolishes. Most of you think that this brand is very overpriced for the quality you got, and that's true. However, I find two colors I couldn't resist. I picked those up, and I think the are gorgeous. Not only in shine, also in consistency. They are 3,99 each.'
Imagine If... over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue
Kendall on the Catwalk over Rimmel in Marine Blue

'I have Imagine If... and Kendal on the Catwalk. Before you plan on to pick a few up, just do a little color research, cause the Nicole by OPI colors could be a hit or a miss. The glitters I have are stunning, and worth it. I will pick up a few pearly/ creamy colors in the future, if Big Bazar get more colors.'

Purchases ~ Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Nailpolish (Action, Big Bazar)

'During June and July I picked several Rimmel Lasting Pro Nailpolishes up at the Action and the Big Bazar. At the Action they are 2,39 a piece, and at the Big Bazar they are 2,99 each. Both stores don't have all the colors. For example I found Burgundy Flirt only at the Action, just like Marine Blue and Spicy Romance. That last one is at this point still on my wishlist, cause I spotted Sinful Colors in my local Kruidvat for 1,99... so I planned on to pick up a few Sinful Colors polishes first. I feel the Big Bazar has less colors in stock from these Rimmel ones. Here is my first impression.'
From left to right: Wild Orchid, English Rose, Burgundy Flirt, Steel Grey

'The one I got later, but tried on first was Marine Blue. The application is wonderful, and as you can see, goes on pretty smooth. You can get away with one coat of Marine Blue, but I used two here. I love how this color looks, specially in the sunlight. Drytime is fine. Can't wait to try all my colors, but like I said, I have also to shop some Sinful Colors. :) '

Reviews ~ (Belate) Finished Products June 2014

'I decided to put on my Finished Products from June 2014, cause my trash bin is overflowing. I planned on to squeeze June together with July, but the mess is driving me nuts. So here we go with the Finished Products for June.'

'First I finished a €1 douchecream from Palmolive, the one with the Olive scent. I really enjoyed that douchecream. The other is a douchegel from Vogue and  got it for free in a Giveaway group on Facebook. It's the exotic or erotic one. Not sure if I will purchase this by myself.
Then I used up an bodybutter by Superdrug. It was in Coconut and Sheabutter, and it was around €2,50. I will repurchase this probably somewhere in the wintertime.
Then some faceproducts. The first one is my always come back to cottonpads, from €0,55. These are from the Action. Also from the Action: Beau facecloth's for just 0,19 a pack! Could you believe it... The thing is: I won't use these for my face, cause it will leave you some make up on, especially with mascara it's trouble. But I love these cloth's for my feet. After a long day wearing gympies at work, I will whipe my feet clean... It's so refreshing for that.'

'I also finished two perfumes. The first one is by Avon, and it's called Far Away. I purchased this thing somewhere in 2006, not even lie. When I found this perfume, there was just a little bit left, so I finished it. I'm glad I did. I have no idea what this perfume nowadays will cost...  Maybe if you're searching for it, you will find it.
The other perfume is an Bonnebell one. This thing is very old, and it does smell bad, so I didn't even use the whole bottle up. But I'm done with it. Also no idea about the price, or available- ness of it.
Also done: ELF Eyelid Primer, also an old one. I liked this primer, and if my paypal let me I will repurchase this for 1 -$1. I heard they raised their prices a little at ELF, so I'm not sure about the exact price.
The last perfumy thing is an sample from Yves Rocher, wich I liked. Sadly enough I won't purchase from Yves Rocher anymore, cause their Dutch customer service is really bad, especially when you changing your shipping adress.'

'Lastly, my finished lippies. First: a Catrice Lipappeal Lipgloss in Berry Good. Loved the color, but hated the consistency. I'm glad it's discontinued. It was overpriced too, 3,99 a gloss.
Then a Limited Edition Catrice Lipstick. It doesn't make sense to say a lot of it, because it isn't available anymore for 3,99. The other lipstick is one from the regular line. Color is Pink Me Up, and the left over broke in the tube, during the heat. Not going to repurchase, because I'm not a huge fan of pink lipsticks. It was also 3,99.'

'That's it! Better late as never...'

Purchases ~ Revlon at the Big Bazar

'Till June 6th, you could buy Revlon buy two for €5 at the Big Bazar. So I grabbed, offcourse, a Coulorstay Nail Enamel in Nude Sand and a Mooncandy Nailpolish in Orbit. I whore the Mooncandy allready, and I love the effect it gave my nails. Especially when the sun is out these days. I didn't made a picture, so I will do a On My Nails later on. You can still buy Revlon prodcts at the Big Bazar for 2,99 a piece.'

Projects ~ My New Ways To Storage Nailpolish

'Giveaway groups on Facebook are awesome. People giving loads of stuff away, wich else ends up at the garbage. I picked a few things up lately for free, wich I recycled to a new purpose.'

'The first things I picked up, are these suitcases made out of reed. I store my Catrice nailpolishes in them, those fit perfect. I have 3 of these suitcases, but I put two on pic.'

' Then, someone would throw away these old school cd cases. The see through visor can be used as closet doors. Maybe I'm going to get rid of those "doors" and hang a curtain on these cases. I will DIY these cases to a more girly Nailpolish Station in the future anyway, but for now you get the idea.'
