Reviews ~Finished Products September 2012

'Time for another Finished Products post. I used up mostly my standard things, but I have also a few wich I don't finish so easy.'

'First things I finished this month is my shampoo from my Dutch local drugstore Etos. It's the shampoo against greasy hair, and was only 1,99. For that price it works very well, my hair became very fresh after using this. I want to repurchase this, when I'm visiting my Etos again.
The other item is a mini deodorant by Nivea, and I got it for free a while ago. My local Trekpleister was giving these away. Not sure if I want to buy a full size bottle. In my opinion this smells a little too girlie.'

'Another item I purchased a long, long time ago. It's the Yves Rocher Arnica Nail Oil. I paid 5 for this bottle, and I repurchased this all the time, for at least 6 years. Sadly enough Yves Rocher discontinued it, and I'm not happy with that.
The other thing I finished is this bottle of Etos Moisturizing Handcream. It is only 1,99, and so far the best drugstore handcreams I ever found in Holland. Defenately my favorite, and I repurchased it this month. (and got one for free).'

'Then I finished this mascara from Yves Rocher, wich I got for free along one of my purchases. This thing don't work at all for me. It smudge like crazy on me, and the brush don't give an visible changing effect. I believe this mascara is around 14,95 I believe. Sometimes you can buy this with a discount, but still, it isn't worth my money.
The other thing from Yves Rocher was also for free. It's a eyecream sample and it claims to be an roll-on eyecream. Offcourse, the roll- on thinghy was missing in this package, cause it is an sample. Not really credible, so I'm not sure if the rollerball should work. To me it is one out of the hundredth overpriced items from Yves Rocher, and I don't think about purchase it.'

'Next some finished lippies. Both items are from the Action, and the first thing is the Max Lipbalm. Action sells them in a package with two for only 0,85. I can tell you, it's crap in a tube. First, the logo rubbed of so easy, that I'm not sure what the package actually said. I know it said something like moisturizing lipbalm, but it's not. My lips dried out more when using this, and after a few applies, the scent became really nasty. No repurchase for this one. I have one left at this point, and I'm trying to get rid of it as soon as possible.
The other one is the Action Max Lipstick in Chocolate Brown. I like their formula, not their package. The package damaged so quikly, and fall apart. You can buy these lipsticks also in a package of two for 0,89.'

'Last two things. First thing I finished was my Bella Duo Cotton Pads from the Action, the one wich I always got. It's only 0,52 and works really well.
The other thing I finished this month was a bag of jellybeans from my Dutch local grocery store AH (Albert Heijn). It was only 1,49, and very delicious.'

Purchases ~ Random Things September 2012

'Time for another small purchase. Most of these things I repurchase, because I finished them. So let's take a look in my standard purchases.'

'First thing I needed is a new shampoo. Because I am a little on a budget, I purchased this one from my local Trekpleister for less then 0,50.'

'My local Drugstore Etos had an discount on their handcreams: Buy one get one free. So I picked both of these creams up for only 1,99. I got the normal skin one, wich is my standard one, and because of my cleaning, I decided to pick also one for extra dry skin.'

'Finally, my Action stocked up on hand sanitizers, so I immediately picked a set of 3. A set of 3 bottles was only 0,85.'

'Last purchase of lipbalms from the Action was a little miss for me, so I picked two lipbalms from my Trelpleister up. These balms where only 0,79 a piece, but I bought these when there was a buy one get one free discount.'

'Lastly, I had to pick those two NYC In A Minute Nailpolishes. I got them from my Kruidvat, cause Kruidvat did an buy one get one free discount as well. I payed only 2,29 for both. I do swatches of them soon on here, so please be patient.'

'So far my september purchases. I need to say that I emptied my hard disk, so I had to make a few new pics of these. The lipbalms I photographed earlier in their original package, but unfortunately I lost all my pics. By the time I pictured these items again, some of them I opened allready. (else it took me a lot of space)'

Projects ~ Fall Into These Eyes!

'You notice it's almost Fall here in Holland. Our Indian Summers are mostly cold, windy and wet. My nails always need to break around this time of year, and I'm struggling to keep them healthy. Also, this time of year, I'm changing the way I wear my eye make up. In summer I like to wear most of the time colorful combinations, like blue with green, purple with green, or pink, purple and blue all together. In Fall I don't want to get it all natural immediately, so what I'm doing in the Indian Summer is combine colors with browns and natural colors. Wich you see strongly back in this first Fall/ Indian Summer look of this year. I hope you like.' ^_^
Used:
~ Essence Eyeshadowbase
~ Orange eyeshadow by Wynie (post about new 1001 Voordeelshop buyings soon)
~ Brown and light pink browcolor Eyeshadow by 28 Neutrals Palette
~ Yellow liner by Wynie Eyeshadow (on GKSH soon)
~ Yves Rocher Mascara Black (I don't own a brown mascara, if I had, I used a brown mascara for this look)
~ Catrice Brown Eyeliner on my waterline(discontinued)
~ Lipstick by Barry M in #150 Pink Suede (hardly to see on the pic beneath)
Jups, there's a spiderweb on my wall in the back. I try to get in the Halloween mood lately...

WishLists ~ Diamond Candles

'Hopping around on Youtube is almost an daily routine for me. It was a matter of time to discover some awesome candles there, called Diamond Candles. It's such an cool concept. You see, in every candle you will find an diamond ring, worth between $10 - $5000. Jup, you read it correctly: there's a change you will find a diamond ring worth $5000. That's what their site claims. These candles aren't in my opinion cheap, they are $24,95 each. Better be worth it. Still time for a wishlist.'

'I collected my favorite looking candles from Diamond Candles, and I put the description, wich you will find also on their site, beneath every candle.'
Rosewood ~ "Long lasting roses and a woody, earthy blend of sandalwood touched with a hint of musk and patchouli make for an exotic and complicated fragrance that those with distinguished tastes will really appreciate. Who do you have special in your life that deserves something that will out last and out smell a real rose but also be a great gift to wear for years to come?"

Sweety Pea ~ "Sweety Pea is a sweet floral scent with a hint of violets, sweet peas, and berry. It is a crisp scent that will freshen a room or part of the house. Blindfolded you would guess that you were outside in a garden. Not too strong but a nice mild intensity scent."
White Chocolate ~ "Chocoholics anonymous unite. What is better than eating chocolate with (or for some of our more advanced cases), for every meal? Have your house or a particular room smell like chocolate day and night. (Please don't burn a candle while you are sleeping though, we cannot be held liable for your husband trying to eat your candles while you sleep.)"
Hawaiian Coconut ~ "Open up the smell of a fresh coconut from the Hawaiian Islands! This scent will feed your cravings for a pina colada. Pull out a straw, because you’ll have the urge to sip away the pure awesomeness."
Harvest Blend ~ "Fall spices and flavors all in one candle? Done. Oranges, apples, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger round out this cozy and comfortable candle. You will make the pilgrims jealous of your cornucopia of fall euphoria."

Cuddle ~ "Remember warm flannel pajamas on a day off of school from a snow day? That stuffed animal that every time you smell it brings back memories that you forgot you even had? That is what Cuddle is about. An uplifting baby powder like fragrance with a warm twist that is a wonderful backdrop for any room of your house that will leave people feeling both cozy and warm."
Cinnamon Tea ~ "Mom's favorite. Like a fresh cup of cinnamon tea that heals any ailments, bad days, and bruised knees. At least that's what momma said. Give it a try and let us know what your mom would say about this Cinnamon Tea candle."
Chocolate Truffle ~ "When you think of Mother's Day gifts what is one of the first things you think of? Chocolate. Our Chocolate Truffle is a creamy, sweet blend of chocolate, not over powering or artificial, but will leave your mouth watering and wanting more."

'I'm not a huge fan of China Glaze Nailpolishes, but maybe is it because I have only two: a glitter one and a metallic- sheer one. Time to look around for China Glaze Nailpolishes.'

'I picked mostly cream ones, cause I have'nt any good points about the ones I have. So here are the colors I picked.'

Purchases ~ NYC In A Minute Nailpolishes

'I'm terribly sorry for the lack of posts here on GlitterKitty's Shoppinghunt. I have two upcoming busy month's, cause I'm at the start of my Journalism Exam. I only need to fulfill one task... therefore I became an Editress/ Journalist for the local paper... I'm so excited! You need to start somewhere, somehow, right? Anyway, let's make this post happen.'
First row (on top) are the newest In A Minute Polishes in my collection

'A while ago, my local Trekpleister had an discount on NYC Nailpolishes, buy one, get one free. Offcourse I had to pick up a few of the In A Minute ones. I love those polishes more and more, so this was the opportunity to pick a few, wich freshly came out this Fall. I picked four, and I plan to pick also the Revolving Red one, cause at this moment, my local Kruidvat also have an buy one, get one free discount. So, I need to run soon. (my local Kruidvat isn't behind my door, so I need to plan, lol). Anyway, at my Trekpleister I bought four shades for only 4,60. Here they are. I will also make an review on my Youtube channel about them soon, but then I need to pick at least Revolving Red too. (cause I promise one of my subbies to swatch it) So keep an eye out for that. I have also an Vlog on my Youtube Channel where I visit my Trekpleister, and buying these, wich you can find <here>.'
